William Love, Sandpoint High School

Between a trip to Boise, two newspaper deadlines and the start of a girls basketball camp, I fell behind this week. I apologize for my tardiness on posting this week’s current events quiz and will serve a lunch detention.

On an administrative note, Sandpoint High School finishes classes next Friday. I will do a quiz next week. While serving lunch detention, hopefully I will understand the error in my ways and post the quiz on Wednesday.

Teachers: If you would like the answers to these five questions, please send me an email at [email protected]. Have a great week!

1. It was announced this week that Rep. Raul Labrador will chair whose presidential campaign?

2. What prestigious award has a 92-year-old physicist living in Idaho put up for auction with a minimum bid of $325,000.

3. How much money is the State of Idaho expecting to pay to bring the capitol building into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act?

4. Name the chairman of Idaho’s Democratic Party, who announced this week he was resigning because of health reasons.

5. What Idaho city might have to redo its school board election because of problems with ballots in one of its districts?
