JEA Day of Doing initiative offers member teachers to commit acts of journalism

Any day between June 1 and Aug. 1 may be your day to practice journalism and share it with other JEA members.

Essentially, if you have a project as an individual or team that entails the journalistic skills and goals, consider motivating yourself to meet such a goal by joining this initiative.
Some really neat Day of Doing projects are posted on JEA.org.
I’m attending the University of Idaho Summer Journalism Workshop, June 24-27, with three of my students. I plan to use the workshop as inspiration to practice my video skills.
