When will a schedule be available? I’m interested in taking my Yearbook class, but would like to know what sessions are happening to determine the applicability to our program.

Your conference link was shared by a fellow teacher as I have a section of Advertising. My question is, would the conference be beneficial to first year Advertising students and how?
Thank you,
Gayle Bean

Gayle,
I would so send your kids.
1) The building alone (JUMPBoise.org) is inspiring, and full of ways to think about advertising your brand, and creates a team-building experience for your students.
2) We have photography sessions, writing sessions, graphic design and InDesign sessions, and this year we are doing a video bootcamp (from 9 a.m. – 2:45 p.m., when students will be with a nationally recognized video teacher –> companies hire students with video skills over students without them, especially in advertising).
3) We will have a social media session (how to use social media to engage your audience / market your brand).
4) I highly recommend trying it to see how much it sparks your students upon return.
5) Are there specific session types you don’t see here that you would like to see (I’m still filling out this year’s schedule).
